Excellent location just a couple of stops outside of the main tourist centre of Kyoto. Very nice quiet neighbourhood with a nice wine bar down the road and an easy coin laundry a few minutes walk away. A really great property to have that authentic Japanese feel and of course the hot tub is a very welcome addition after a long day exploring the shrines and markets. Perfect for a family.

The location is great, near all in Kyoto, we could walk to Gion, take the subways and train to visit this amazing town really easily. The atmosphere of the house is so peaceful and beautiful.

Beautiful house. Great location. Very spacious. Classic vibe yet very modern. Bath was massive and filled up very fast. WIFI was great. Fully equipped with everything you may need. You cannot cook but they provide you with a big list of online and nearby restaurants. No need to fiddle with keys as all you need is the keypad code.

1. Asked questions through this app, staff always replied really fast and polite. 2. Have a little living room and kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, really nice and relaxing. 3. Whole house really beautiful, and 2nd floor even got a phonograph recorder with the instructions of how to use it. Really cool. 4. Got welcome drinks in the refrigerator, really nice.

The house is very cute and cozy with all the amenities and conveniently located in the center for easy transportation. The staff is extremely quick to respond and very helpful. It is highly recommended to try when visiting Kyoto.

Very comfortable. Gives you that feeling of a traditional Japanese house. Staff was attentive and friendly whenever you needed help. Open air bath took a little getting use to but it was very pleasant.

This little house was a gem - full house for the four of us which was a pleasant surprise! Spacious for Japan with all basics you need - onsen, tea kettle, refrigerator . special attention to toilet products as well!
